If you were faced with an incident involving life or death of your best friend, what would you do? From the famous novela "Of Mice and Men" written and published by John Steinbeck in 1937 comes the movie based on the book. The movie was released October 2nd 1992 set back during the Great Depression in the 1930's, directed by Gary Sinise and screenplay by Horton Foote. Two best friends try to accomplish their long loved dream of becoming owners of a farm, while working on a ranch and saving every penny. Actor Gary Sinise who plays George Milton, the bossy, mean, best friend of Lennie Smalls played by John Malkovich, set out to work on a ranch. These two best friends are faced with many struggles and conflicts throughout their journeys. Lennie Smalls (John Malkovich) who is mindless and unintelligent depends and relies on George Milton (Gary Sinise) to help him at the ranch. George has to deal with many difficult conflicts involving his best friend. When Lennie gets himself into a bit of a struggle involving Curly, the bosses son and Curly's wife, George is faced with the most difficult choice. In the end George has to make the decision life or death of his best friend Lennie. How will George take the situation into his own hands? And will Lennie and George's dream of having their own place to call home be demolished?
